I have always been passionate about supporting women and especially in my role as a midwife. I am also a mother to two beautiful girls who keep me very busy.
Working in a busy hospital helping mums transition into motherhood.
I recognised one of the many challenges new mums face is feeling comfortable with the right underwear.
Mums want to focus on their new baby and not worry about the heavy bleeding or the feeling of discomfort from their underwear.
In the early postpartum period women often use underwear that are loose or tight. They leak, pads bunch up and underwear that pulls up tightly onto their caesarean or perineum wound. New mums are wearing adult diapers, which is why I decided it was time to find a better solution for the postpartum woman.
